Dr.D.MANJUNATH
Deputy Commissioner
Today, the role of a school is to provide a structured environment that fosters academic, social, emotional, physical and career development. Schools are responsible for preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators and thinkers who will shape the future of society. The aim of education in the school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. Here, we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The real purpose of education is to grow a person of character. The purpose of the education system is to impart knowledge as well as values in order to provide leadership in all walks of life. Creativity can find an outlet through a variety of artistic forms. There is a wealth of talent in our students which is discovered, recognised and nurtured in our Vidyalaya. So that he/she is able to reach greater heights with the support of the parents and teachers. Students are provided with a platform to think, express and exhibit their skills. Vidyalaya Patrika is one such platform. The articles written by our staff members and students display their wonderful perception, imagination and creative abilities. I am confident that our Vidyalaya will achieve greater heights in the coming time. I extend my greetings and best wishes to the Principal, staff and the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Golconda and wish their endeavors my very best. Deputy Commissioner, Hyderabad Region.
